The
Estro Genies
|
The
Estro Genies are all female, fun and folk for the most part, with three
singer songwriters and one music professor tying the whole act together.
This unique quartet creates a show mixed with old time folk and country
standards, a smidgen original hard folk rock, some soulful groove tunes
and to top it all off, a few Slovakian foot stomping mountain songs.
They became friends through
Southern New Jersey
music circles as individual artists and writers. During the winter
of 2007 they formed this unique ensemble finding there was a need for an
all women musical variety show of sorts, which brings the audience an
assorted musical event. These ladies combine their original tunes
and some special covers to mix up the evening as they all back each other on vocals,
percussion, saxophone, keyboard, bass and guitars.
